Climate-Friendly Cooking has a new look!
Now with more recipe pictures!
Recently, Climate-Friendly Cooking has been looking a little different and - I think - fresher. The design is still very simple, but now you can find small preview pictures for each recipe in many different places - on the homepage, in the recipe lists and especially in the overview of all recipes by carbon footprint.
Until now, you only had a fixed “Masonry Grid” with a few hand-picked recipes - but especially on smartphones, you sometimes had to scroll a bit until you could see the new recipes. Now you’ll find the right picture for each new recipe and get a better insight when you’re thinking about what you want to cook.
The homepage in a before-and-after comparison
Especially the overview of all recipes by carbon footprint makes a huge difference: before, this page was a not particularly appealing list with a lot of text. Now you can find pictures everywhere and you can also see the carbon footprint of each recipe better and more easily. Further down you can find the page in a before-and-after comparison - still a long list, but much less monotonous.
What has remained the same is our rather simple green and white design, the basic layout of the articles and the visualizations of the estimated carbon footprint for each recipe. How do you like our new design? Feel free to send us an email at hello@climatefriendlycooking.com! 💌
